Help us continue being a bright light of Christian love to Israel
Dear Friend,
I’m not sending this message to everyone, but because you have been a special friend and partner to the vital work of Friends of Zion in Israel and around the world, I’m sharing it with you.
Our ministry is facing a financial crisis.
Last month, our income was down dramatically, far short of what we need to pay for the outreaches and programs that are touching the lives of so many people.
We are caring for Jewish families — not dozens or hundreds, but thousands — who are suffering. We are caring for widows and orphans…after more than two years of war, there are more than ever before in Israel’s modern history. We are caring for impoverished Holocaust survivors, many of whom came from Russia or Ukraine with only a single suitcase holding everything they owned in the world. The list goes on and on.
And we are getting desperate pleas for help every single day.
The economic situation in Israel is dire, and the poverty rate is up sharply because of the damage of the war, the decline of tourism, and the global BDS campaign against Israel.
So who do we say “No” to? Do we stop delivering food to poor Holocaust survivors? Do we stop providing services to the families of those taken hostage on October 7? Do we stop helping young IDF soldiers suffering the strain of more than two years of constant fighting?
What I want to do is say “Yes.” But we can’t unless you say “Yes.”
Your gift today is an urgently needed message of hope and help to suffering Jewish people.
I’m asking you to be as generous as you possibly can, and please don’t delay your response.
It will come to my desk, and I will give thanks to God for your help and pray His special favor and blessing on your life.
Thank you in advance for saying “Yes” so that we can say “Yes” to those in urgent need. God bless you for blessing His Chosen People.
Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Dr. Mike Evans
P.S. The reason so many people in Israel are reaching out to us for help is because we have shown them true Christian love in action, and that’s why your Friends of Zion Center is such a great lighthouse of hope to the whole House of Israel. Please let me hear from you soon so that we can keep doing everything possible to meet the most urgent needs of those who are mourning in Zion.
P.P.S. You know that I don’t cry wolf. This is a real, serious, urgent problem for our ministry. But I believe if you and every friend and partner will seek the face of God and respond as He leads, the needs will be met, and we will be able to do more than ever to help suffering Jewish people.
My Emergency Gift for Suffering Jewish People
As the urgent need for help continues to grow, Friends of Zion is being flooded with pleas from people who have nowhere else to turn. But recently we’ve experienced a major decline in our income, and that needs to change so that we can keep on being the bright light of Christian love that the nation of Israel has come to expect. Your most generous gift today is your voice of hope and help for those in desperate need.
YES, Dr. Evans, I agree with you that we must not stop doing all we can to help suffering Jewish people. My emergency gift for the vital work of Friends of Zion is:
