“You have come into the kingdom for such a time as this.”

Dear Friend,

As I write this, Israel is once again in a life and death war with Iran, ancient Persia. The rockets are falling, warning sirens are wailing, and Jewish people are hiding in bunkers and bomb shelters and safe rooms.

I arrived in Israel just hours before the massive Israeli and American attack that cut the head off the Iranian snake. I was there when Iran retaliated with missiles and drones hitting Israel and the warning sirens going off to warn of new attacks.

I worked with our whole team in Israel and all the Friends of Zion Center staff to mobilize our response. And ever since this latest round of war started, we have been doing everything possible to help suffering people of Israel.

Today I’m asking you to go to Israel — not physically, but spiritually through your fervent prayers and financially with your most generous gift possible.

This is not the first time a plot has been hatched in Persia to exterminate the Jewish people. And make no mistake, that is exactly what Iran wants to do. They do not want to leave a single living Jewish man, woman, or child in the land of Israel or anywhere else around the world.

Long ago Haman, inspired by the principalities and powers of the demonic world, created a plan for all the Jews to be killed, which the king approved. But a young woman named Hadassah (Esther) heard the call: “You have come into the kingdom for such a time as this.” She put her life on the line, and the Jewish people were spared. Her name still echoes and will into eternity because she heard and obeyed the voice of God.

I’m willing to put my life on the line. I do not fear being in Israel during a war. I’ve been in Israel for every major conflict since 1982. The only thing I fear is disobeying God. I’m asking you to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit of God and join hands with me as we stand in the gap like Esther did.

The ancient prophet Daniel also lived in Persia. He had a troubling vision about a coming great war. For three weeks, he fasted and prayed. While Daniel was praying, a battle was raging in the unseen realm against the demonic power known as the “prince of Persia.” He prevented the angel God sent with the answer to Daniel’s prayer from arriving until the archangel Michael was sent to win the victory and deliver the message to Daniel.

Because of his faithfulness and obedience, Daniel’s name also echoes still today. Daniel said, “Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever” (Daniel 12:3).

I’m asking you right now to be wise and be a Daniel or an Esther and go to Israel as my partner through prayer and through your giving.

The Spirit of God, through the Word of God, is crying out to you right now with these words, “Comfort ye Comfort ye, my people, saith your God.”

The opportunity of a lifetime has to be seized in the lifetime of the opportunity.

I can see the faces of suffering Jewish people and hear their cries. There are masses of Jewish people in Israel that do not have the necessary provisions, food and medicine, and other vital urgent necessities. We also must continue caring for Holocaust survivors. These are very elderly people. Most of them are ill and alone, and they desperately need our help now.

We’ve also been caring for widows and for orphans and for wounded Israelis from the wars and terror attacks. There are so very many needs that are urgent right now for this suffering nation that you can meet right now with your gift.

And I assure you, your prayers will do for the Jewish people what Daniel and Esther’s prayers did for them in their day. Thank you in advance for responding to this urgent need. God bless you.

Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Dr. Mike Evans

P.S. Please pray in a special way for our people on the ground in Israel.  They have put themselves in harm’s way again and again to help those in urgent need. And please rush your generous gift to help Friends of Zion respond to the unfolding and ongoing humanitarian crisis.

With so many Jewish people suffering, our help is more urgently needed than ever. Your gift of support for the vital work of Friends of Zion will provide non-perishable food to eat, clean water to drink, medicine, and so much more. Please be as generous as you can and rush your gift today.

YES, Dr. Evans, I am standing with Israel as the Jewish people fight to survive. My special emergency gift for the relief work of Friends of Zion is:
