Dear Friend,
I met them. I prayed with them. I wept with them. I’ll never forget it.
On my most recent trip to Israel, I had the heartbreaking privilege of meeting survivors of the terrorist attack.
I talked to hostages who had been freed.
I talked to parents grieving the loss of their children.
I talked to young IDF soldiers who had spent weeks on the frontlines.
Over and over, I told them, “You are not alone.”
The Jewish people know they are hated.
They’ve seen reports from the pro-Hamas demonstrations in America and Europe and around the world.
They’ve seen the votes at the United Nations overwhelmingly condemn them for fighting to survive.
They’ve seen the ridiculous charges of genocide being leveled in global judicial settings.
They’ve buried friends and loved ones. They’ve buried little children. They’ve buried aged Holocaust survivors killed by the terrorists. They’ve buried IDF soldiers killed defending their country and their people.
They are hurting. They need us right now.
We have been doing everything possible to meet the urgent needs of suffering people in Israel.
We’ve been delivering food to poor Holocaust survivors too afraid to leave their tiny apartments.
We’ve been housing families forced to flee their homes at your Friends of Zion Center in Jerusalem.
We were also approved by the Ministry of Education as a host site, and refugee children are going to school at your Friends of Zion Center as well.
We are bringing in families of those still being held hostage and providing them a break from the fear and doubt they live with every day.
We are providing supplies to IDF soldiers who are fighting for the life of their nation.
And we’re going to keep doing all of this and more as friends like you continue to make it possible.
You have provided 13.5 million meals to war-torn souls in Ukraine and Israel…victims of terror, widows, orphans, and Holocaust survivors like Sheila who, when I told her we were taking her to Israel from Ukraine, said, “I was born in a war, and thought I would die in a war, but I put my faith in God, and you came for me.”
I’m asking you to take another step because we can’t stop now.
The physical help we are providing is huge—literally the difference between life and death for some precious people.
But they need more than just food and clothes and medicine.
They need hope.
So we’ve created a little rose on a card.

Jesus is the “rose of Sharon,” and I am asking you to show His love in action to His Jewish brothers and sisters today.
The card has a Bible verse and a message of hope in both English and Hebrew.
When you give today, we will include a rose card in your honor in the package of help we provide to a poor Holocaust survivor, a victim recovering from injuries in the terrorist attacks, a family whose loved one is still being held hostage or a young IDF soldier risking his or her life in defense of Israel.
This will be your way of telling them…and showing them…that they are not alone.
I can’t think of a more important message we could send right now.
The longer the war drags on…and despite what the Jew-haters are saying, this is NOT a war that Israel chose or wants to fight, but a war they HAVE to fight and win…the greater the toll on the Jewish people.
And what that means is that we must do even more to help.
There’s a reason people call your Friends of Zion Center every day looking for help.
The bright light of Christian love we are shining together from the Holy City has spread across the entire nation.
You have been a blessing to a suffering nation.
You have been a comfort to those who mourn in Zion.
You have been a witness that true Christians love and care for God’s Chosen People.
You have been a help to the helpless.
But we must not stop now.
We urgently need your help as we continue to increase our efforts to meet the needs of the suffering Jewish people.
I am asking you to send your most generous gift possible.
The needs are so great.
I can’t imagine having to say no to the precious people who are coming to us for help, but the only way we can say yes to them is if you first say yes to us.
So please rush your Holy Spirit-led gift.
The needs grow day by day.
And I want you to know that the impact you are making on the whole House of Israel is beyond anything you can imagine.
Together we are changing the future and destiny of the nation.
I look forward to hearing from you very soon.
God bless you.
Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Dr. Mike Evans
P.S. Please be as generous as you can when you send your gift. We must not stop reaching out in Christian love to the suffering Jewish people.
