Touch the lives of suffering Jewish people
Dear Friend,
I am in Israel meeting with suffering families who URGENTLY need our help.
I stood outside what had once been home to a lovely family in northern Israel. It was destroyed…completely unfit for people to live in.
The family had actually been in the house when the missile hit, but thankfully none of them were seriously injured.
The tragedy is that this is not an isolated story.
It is not one family…or 100…or even 1000 families. More than 100,000 families have been forced to flee from their homes.
These precious people are facing trauma that most of us can’t even imagine. Many of them lost everything they had. And while the world may be looking away from what is happening in Israel, this crisis is not going away.
And now it is winter.
Especially in the northern part of the country, winters can be bitterly cold.
Many of those who are still homeless left with only a single suitcase or maybe just the clothes they were wearing. And the war is taking a huge toll on the people.
I talked to a mother who couldn’t sleep at night because she was dreading a knock on the door to tell her that her son who serves in the IDF had been killed.
I held a weeping father who wasn’t able to protect his precious daughter from the terrorist savages who raped and killed her.
I sat in a hospital room with a family waiting to hear if the emergency surgery would save their son’s life.
I could fill a book with the tragic stories I’ve heard.
Despite what some are claiming, Israel didn’t start this war. The Jewish people want peaceful lives in the ancient land of their fathers. Their enemies are determined to keep that from happening.
The economy of Israel is in shambles.
Many businesses are closed because the owner or a majority of the workers were called up as reservists to serve in the IDF.
Many towns have been devastated by continued attacks with rockets, missiles and mortars, making them impossible to live in safely.
The threat of Iran and its seven terrorist proxy armies requires Israel to spend a staggering amount of their budget on military expenses.
And the collapse of the tourism industry since the war started…and has dragged on so long…is a major loss to the economy.
Now the cold of winter is here.
There are precious people who do not have warm coats to wear. There are hungry children who do not have enough food to eat. There are elderly Holocaust survivors who can’t heat their tiny apartments AND pay for the medicine they need.
Today I’m asking you to be part of a winter miracle of love and compassion and Christian care for God’s Chosen People.
I’m asking you to reach out to precious people who have lost so much and have no one to help them. I’m asking you to do for them what you would do for the Lord if you knew He were cold or hungry or had nowhere to live.
Remember what Jesus said:
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. —Matthew 25:37-40
The Lord is calling us to stand in the gap and comfort “the least of these,” and that is what the Jerusalem Prayer Team is doing every single day thanks to the help of generous friends like you.
With the cold of winter here, our humanitarian outreaches are more vital now than ever, and I am praying that you will join hands with us once again as we work together to be God’s hands of love reaching out to His Chosen People.
If you are able to send a gift of $1000 or more, we will send you a beautiful 3-D “Here Am I” Tree display. The seven glass plates and wooden holder join together in a replica of the stunning digital tree in the Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem.
Please rush your holy winter miracle offering today to be part of this great outreach of Christian love. Thank you in advance for your generous response.
Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Dr. Mike Evans
P.S. The Lord has opened so many wonderful doors for us to reach out to the suffering Jewish people. But it is only because generous friends like you provide the resources that we are able to answer the urgent pleas for help we receive every day. The only way we can say “YES” to them is if you say “YES” and choose to be part of the winter miracle. I look forward to hearing from you very soon. God bless you.
Be Part of the Winter Miracle
The cold of winter poses a grave threat to thousands of Jewish refugees who have been driven from their homes by the terrorist attacks on Israel. We must reach out to them before it is too late. Your gift today will help with a great humanitarian outreach to these suffering people and continue the vital work of the Jerusalem Prayer Team across Israel and around the world. Please be as generous as you can when you send your winter miracle offering.
