You and I are God’s Esther for this hour!

Dear Friend,

I have a prophetic word from the Lord regarding what is happening in the Middle East that I must share with you…and a call from Him to join us and stand in the gap in this crisis prophetic hour.

I know you are familiar with the story of Esther, a Jewish orphan who was used by God to deliver the Jewish people from a plot by an evil man named Haman to annihilate them. Mordecai told Esther:

“Do not think that because you are in the king’s house you alone of all the Jews will escape. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:13-14).

The Spirit of God is calling out to you and me to take a stand “for such a time as this.”

As I am writing to you, a message just arrived from Israel asking me if I can go into Gaza in the next few days.

The answer had to be yes.

I am pastoring the nation of Israel, and when they are in the fire…I must be in it with them. Please pray for me.

The war Hamas launched on October 7 was carefully planned by Iran (ancient Persia) over a long period of time. This was the worst single day slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust.

Many of the kibbutzim near the Gaza border were populated by people strongly in favor of peace. Many of these well-intentioned Jewish people welcomed Palestinians into their homes, treated them as family, provided food and even medical care for them.

In return, the Palestinians carefully mapped their homes and towns so that the attackers would know where to strike for maximum devastation and death.

The reason Iran unleashed Hamas now was to exhaust and distract both Israel and the world while they continue to work toward their goal: an atomic Iran by the end of 2024.

And what has happened so far, as deadly as it has been, is only the beginning.

Iran has a far larger terrorist proxy, Hezbollah in Lebanon, where they have stockpiled 150,000 rockets. In addition, they have many cruise missiles that are capable of striking anywhere in Israel.

The Al-Aqsa Flood (the code name for the attack on October 7) was fundamentally a preemptive attack upon the State of Israel by Iran.

Iran is hoping to delay Israel’s military response to the fact that Iran will be an atomic Islamic State by November most likely with a nuclear umbrella with Russian planes flying over Iranian airspace.

Iran has calculated the impact of all of its terror proxies on distracting and deterring Israel from confronting it over its ultimate objective.

This is without a doubt an existential threat to the State of Israel.

Iran knows it, and Israel knows it. But there is far more going on than just the military conflict.

Iran is using the war to turn the world against Israel.

The enemies of Israel have been much better at fighting media wars and ideological wars than Israel. It’s about inspiration and information. Man’s ability to confront evil is only determined by the inspiration he draws from his history and his heroes.

It’s about market share. More than 45% of the world gets all of its news information, or I should say misinformation, from their smartphone. They filter everything through what they perceive as social justice.

And Israel haters are donating billions to spread lies to damage Israel.

Iran and the Jew haters are encouraging and indoctrinating the world to see Palestinians as oppressed people with Israel having their knee on their neck.

Around the world, people groups that consider themselves oppressed, including indigenous groups, are easily swayed to believe the self-inspired narrative.

The State of Israel recently launched its first Indigenous Embassy on your Friends of Zion Campus to combat anti-Semitism among almost one billion people in these people groups.

Isaiah declared,

“I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth” (Isaiah 62:6-7).

Your Friends of Zion Center has become a command and control center, a city of refuge for the nation of Israel, addressing virtually every need imaginable. But I realize that the next war Israel is going to face is going to be far larger than the one they are fighting now.

Haman attempted to wipe out the Jewish people in Esther’s time. Today, Iran is doing the exact same thing. But the God who delivered Israel from Haman can deliver Israel from Hamas and Hezbollah…and from Iran.

We have to battle these principalities and powers in prayer. And we have to do all we can to meet the needs of the suffering souls in Israel.

But there is more that must be done. Because of the likelihood of the war spreading, we are mobilizing right now to respond to this dire threat.

Our campaign cannot wait until half the nation of Israel is in bomb shelters. Many of them will be without food, water, and medicine. We’ve got to prepare now so that we can meet the urgent needs that will follow.

Soon millions of Israelis will be in bomb shelters. When Hezbollah fires its 150,000 missiles, Israel’s utility network will be shut down. The people in bomb shelters will not have water or food or medical kits or a generator for electricity. Your gift of $50 can provide non-perishable food and water for a week for a family of three. I can see the faces of hostages, their family members, and widows and orphans as I am writing to you. I also can see the faces of young people who watched family and friends being gang raped and beheaded and burned alive.
