Unleash God’s Supernatural Power in Your Life

Dear Friend,

As soon as the airport in Tel Aviv reopened after Iran launched more than 300 drones and missiles in their first ever direct attack on the Jewish state, I flew to the nation of Israel as your voice of help and hope to the suffering Jewish people.

While I was there, God called me to a season of fasting and prayer — not only for Israel, for America, and for our ministry but also for you — and as I was praying today, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “Pray for your partner.  Stand in the gap for your partner.  Tell your partner, ‘Here am I’.”

Immediately, I started praying for my beloved wife, Carolyn, but the Holy Spirit said, “No, I haven’t asked you to pray for your wife.  I’ve asked you to pray for your partner.”  It was then that I realized the Lord was talking about you. 

I began praying for you, and He said to me, “I want you to pray in the secret place.”  I must be honest, I didn’t know where the Lord was talking about.  I thought that it must be in my prayer room, so I went in there to pray.  The Lord said, “No, pray in the secret place.”

I said to the Lord, “Lord, I don’t know what secret place You’re talking about.”  Then He said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of My mouth.  I want you to go on a 21-day fast and read all of My words in 21 days.”

What He was telling me was to begin with the book of Genesis and read through the book of Revelation all within 21 days.  I must tell you, I’ve only done that once before in my life, but there was no doubt in my mind that I was hearing from heaven.

I’m writing you from the secret place where I’ve been praying for you for more than a week now.  I must tell you, I’ve already read every book in the Old Testament and marked up hundreds of Scripture verses in the first 11 days of the 21 days.  I’m now in the book of Matthew, and the Holy Spirit has been speaking strongly to me even as I’m writing to you.

The disciples said to Jesus, “Behold, your mother and your brothers.’  And He said, ‘Who is My mother and My brother?  For whosoever does the will of my Father which is in Heaven, the same is My brother and My sister and My mother’” (Matthew 12:47-50).

I want you to understand that you’re not only partnering with me when you support the Jerusalem Prayer Team, but you’re partnering with the Lord.  He knows your name and knows your need.  I’ve been assigned by Him to stand in the gap for you.  The Bible describes Jesus as being moved with compassion. He was moved with compassion over their physical needs, over their emotional needs, over their spiritual needs, over their financial needs, over their mental needs, and God has told me to also be moved with compassion for you.

That is the message I received as I prayed for you in Israel.  I did a prayer walk from the Temple Mount all the way through the stations of the cross on the way to the Garden Tomb.  

There’s nothing more powerful than being in the presence of the Lord, filled with the Holy Spirit, filled with the Word of the living God, and being obedient to an assignment from heaven.  A woman with an issue of blood was filled with faith and said, “If I may touch just the hem of His garment, I will be made whole.”  And Jesus said, “Your faith has made you whole” (Matthew 9:21-22).

I’ve been called by the Lord to stand in the gap for you and your pain.  The Lord has told me to stand in the gap for emotional pain and physical pain, financial pain, pain among loved ones, and to touch the hem of His garment.  These last few years have been years of enormous shaking and uncertainty.  Economic uncertainty, physical uncertainty because of COVID, political uncertainty, and the Lord has said this uncertainty has created great trauma.

I was a medic in the Army, and I worked in a trauma unit.  I was trained to deal with trauma.  The Holy Spirit is telling me now to stand in the gap for you with the trauma you have faced these last couple of years.  Trauma causes exhaustion physically, emotionally, mentally, and even spiritually.  When a person is in trauma, someone has to help them reach out in compassion.

That’s my assignment from the Lord right now.  This month, the Lord has told me to encourage you, to comfort you, to stand in the gap for you.  He’s given me a precious word for you from Isaiah 43:18-19.  He’s saying to you in the Spirit, “Forget the former things.”  I want to say it again.  “Forget the former things.  Do not dwell on the past.”  Then it says, “See, I am doing a new thing.”  The Lord is saying He’s doing a new thing, my beloved friend and partner.  “Now it shall spring forth.  Do you not perceive it?  I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the desert.”

That is the promise He gave me in 1980 when I went to meet Prime Minister Menachem Begin for the first time.  On that trip, I met Benjamin Netanyahu, prophesied over him that he would be prime minister one day and asked Mr. Begin to give him a job in the government.  One word from God can change your life forever.

God is making a way in your wilderness and streams in your desert.  This is a word from the Lord for you.  I’ve always shared with you the vision God has given me in the mandate from heaven, and now He has directed me to spend 21 days on my face and fasting and in prayer for you and bathing myself in the Word of God for you.

I know that you know the Scripture, “Comfort ye, comfort ye my people saith your God” (Isaiah 40:1).  And I know you’ve probably quoted it many times concerning the Jewish people in Israel as I have, but the Holy Spirit is telling me that Scripture right now is concerning you, that I am to comfort you.

I need to know the pain that you’ve been going through.  I can tell you 100% that I have been assigned to stand in the gap for you in a powerful way through fasting and prayer.  Please let me know specifically what it is I’m standing in the gap for, what pain you’re faced in the prayer request section below.

In Daniel 10, the Bible describes 21 days where Daniel was on his face in intercession and in the word, and he describes that he heard the voice of the Lord and that the mighty angel Gabriel came to Daniel because of his words and described the battle that was being fought in the heavenlies with principalities and powers…and told about the great victory that Daniel was going to experience because of his obedience.

I feel in the Spirit that’s precisely what the Lord is sharing with me concerning you. I don’t know if anyone has ever in your life spent 21 days fasting and praying for you and reading through the entire Bible, filling themselves with the Word of the living God to battle principalities and powers for you, but you are precious to the Lord.  You are in partnership with Him for His eternal purposes.

He knows your name and your needs, and He has assigned me during this season to stand in the gap for you.  I’ve heard Him saying over and over and over again in the Spirit, “Hineni!” 

It’s the cry that Abraham cried out on Mount Moriah. It’s the cry that Joseph cried out at Shechem, Jacob at Bethel, Moses on Mount Sinai, and Samuel as a young boy.  It’s the cry that Isaiah cried out when he saw the Lord and heard the Lord say, “Whom shall I send and who will go for us?”  Isaiah said, “Here am I.  Send me.”  It was the cry of the apostle Paul when he saw the Lord and cried out, “Here am I.”  Ezekiel cried it out, and so I say it to you prophetically, “Here am I, standing in the gap for you as assigned by the Lord, to battle principalities and powers concerning the pain you’re going through. 

I’m asking you, under the unction of the Holy Spirit, to send me exactly what that pain is.  If it’s a grandson or granddaughter, a son or daughter, someone that you dearly love that has betrayed you…if it’s a physical attack in your body, a financial attack, emotional exhaustion, or a spiritual attack, you know exactly what it is.

I am as certain as anything I’ve ever been in my life that I’ve been assigned by the Lord to pray the prayer of faith over your greatest need.  I am certain that the Lord is going to lift this burden once I anoint your need with oil and pray the prayer of faith.

As I mentioned at the beginning of this message, it is very unusual to be directed by the Holy Spirit in this way to comfort you, to encourage you, and to focus only on you in this way.  God is doing a new thing in your life.  It won’t be by your might or your power or by your strength or mine, but by His Spirit saith the Lord of hosts.

I believe those next in line for promotion are also the ones Satan attacks.  But I also believe, “All things work together for good to those who love the Lord.”  That proved true in my life when my father strangled me because I attempted to defend my Jewish mother from his abuse.  Jesus appeared to me that night and said, “Son, I love you and have a great plan for your life.”  How amazing that you are part of that great plan of God!  That makes you very special. 

Thank you for being my partner. We have done great things for God, and we’ll continue to do great things for God.  You’re obedient.  I have been obedient to the heavenly mandate.  I give God all the glory for the honor and the privilege of being there for you in this season.  The burden has been very strong upon me.  I can’t wait to see what God does next!
