The Most Important Battle in Our World
Dear Friend,
We are working to launch the Jerusalem World Prayer Center on the Friends of Zion campus in the Holy City.
It’s a massive project, and it is vital, and I want to share my heart with you about why God is directing us to do this and what it will mean to Israel, to America, and to the world.
Iran is hell-bent on attacking Israel.
They are four weeks from having enough uranium to build an atomic bomb once they give the green light. They have seven terrorist proxies surrounding Israel armed with over 250,000 Iranian missiles.
They believe if they can kill one million Jews through an atomic attack that the Mahdi, the Islamic Messiah, will appear and the entire globe will bow its knee to him.
We are on the front lines and urgently need your help today to save lives.
Many years ago, I was with President Ronald Reagan at the White House. He took me into the Oval Office and showed me his mother’s Bible — the Bible he used for both his inaugurations. He opened it to 2 Chronicles 7:14:
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
I could see handwriting on the page, where his mother had written, “Son, this verse is for the healing of the nation.”
When President Reagan put his hand on that verse on January 20, 1981, to take the oath of office, the Iranians released the hostages they had been holding for over a year. That was not a coincidence!
Four years later, he placed his hand on that same Bible on the same verse to take the oath of office for his second term. During that second term, the collapse of Communism began. That was not a coincidence either!
Moses prayed and the Amalekites were defeated. David prayed, and God helped him kill the giant. Elijah prayed, and fire came down from heaven on Mt. Carmel. Hezekiah prayed, and God delivered Jerusalem from the Assyrian army.
Prayer truly changes things.
There is no battle in the world more significant or more important than the battle you and I are fighting together in prayer right now.
No victory can be won in the physical world until it is first fought and won in the spiritual world.
When Daniel was praying for a prophetic understanding of what was going to happen to Israel, his prayer was resisted by a demonic power the Bible calls “the prince of Persia.” For 21 days, Daniel fasted and was faithful in prayer.
He did not stop praying until the angel came with his answer. In addition to gaining the understanding of the prophecy he needed, Daniel’s prayers led directly to the overthrow of the Persian Empire by the Greeks.
My beloved friend and partner, God has given us a mighty weapon and invites us to come to Him in prayer.
We must do that together right now.
And the vital importance of prayer is the reason we must begin work on the Jerusalem World Prayer Center.
The JWPC will be a global headquarters for prayer.
It will bring together Believers from around the world to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the protection of Israel.
It will also be a place where you can share your own prayer needs and know that other prayer warriors are standing with you in whatever battle you are facing.
And it will be a center of help and hope for the suffering people of Israel. We will have a HOPE line, a spiritual version of 9-1-1 that Jewish people can call if they need help or prayer. We will be able to connect people who are hurting with the resources to help them.
If Israel ever needed hope, it is right now with the threat of Iran’s nuclear cloud looming over the nation.
Your Friends of Zion Center is already known across the land of Israel as a beacon of hope, and now we are going to make the light of Christian love shine more brightly than ever.
But we can’t do it without your help.
And the urgent need for the launch of the JWPC cannot come at the expense of the vital humanitarian work we are doing in both Israel and Ukraine to meet the needs of the suffering Jewish people.
The food, medicine, clothing, housing, counseling, and so much more that your love and generosity are providing are literally saving lives.
God has opened great doors for us to be His hands and feet of love, and we cannot stop doing that.
But we must also move forward with the JWPC. The overall budget for this outreach will be $5.5 million, and we need to get started right away.
If you are able to send a gift of $1,000 or more, we will put your name or the name of someone you wish to honor or remember on a special leaf on the founders’ tree at the Jerusalem Global Prayer Center.
If you are able to send a gift of $10,000 or more, we will put your name, or a name of your choosing, on a special star, symbolizing your sacrificial light of love to the nation of Israel and the world. It will be your legacy.
That star will shine from Jerusalem for decades after you are in heaven. The book of Daniel says, “Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever” (Daniel 12:3).
You will shine like the brightness of the heavens.
If necessary, you can give 10 gifts of $1,000 for the star or 10 gifts of $100 for your name on the tree of life. I am asking you to prayerfully seek God’s direction and then respond as He leads to help meet this urgent need.
As we look at the world around us, it is easy to see that the nations need the healing touch of God.
America needs that touch. Israel needs that touch. Ukraine needs that touch.
Together as we claim the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14, I believe we are going to see God do great and mighty things.
Thank you in advance for being part of defending and blessing Israel and the Jewish people.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asked me to thank you for all you are doing to bless Israel.
Please rush your urgently needed gift today.
Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Dr. Mike Evans
P.S. Every day the news gives us another reminder of the spirit war that is raging. Every day Jewish people who are suffering are crying out for help. Every day Believers must fight against the demonic principalities and powers. As part of the Jerusalem Prayer Team, you are doing something truly great for God. I encourage you to be as generous as you can when you give today.
Defending God’s Chosen People Together
God has called us together as the Jerusalem Prayer Team “for such a time as this.” We are meeting the urgent needs of suffering Jewish people in both Israel and Ukraine. And we are preparing to launch the great Jerusalem World Prayer Center as a powerful tool to fight and win the spirit war that is raging. Everything we do is made possible by the support of faithful friends like you, and we encourage you to be as generous as you can when you send your gift today.
YES, Dr. Evans, I believe in the power of prayer and want to do my part to help make the Jerusalem World Prayer Center a reality and continue the vital work of the Jerusalem Prayer Team in Israel, in Ukraine and around the world. My special gift is:
