They laughed at me 44 years ago, but no one is laughing now…

Dear Friend,

Forty-four years ago, I sounded the alarm about Islamic terrorism coming to America. Back then people laughed and mocked me. No one is laughing now. Here’s what happened…

On September 23, 1980, I met with Isser Harel, the former head of Israel’s Mossad spy agency. The presidential campaign between Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan was in full swing. Carter was leading the polls, but Harel told me that when Ronald Reagan put his hand on the Bible to be sworn in as president, the U.S. hostages being held in Iran would be released. The moment it happened, Reuven Hecht, senior advisor for Prime Minister Begin of Israel who had also been present at that meeting, called me saying, “Harel’s a prophet.”

Harel also told me in our meeting that the tallest building in New York City would be struck because it was a symbol of America’s power. Twenty-three years ago, on September 11, 2001, we saw that prophecy come true.

I wrote my first book Israel: America’s Key to Survival following that conversation. The cover showed a Saudi sword slicing the American flag in half. I gave the first copy to Prime Minister Menachem Begin who endorsed the book.

In that book, I made the case that Israel is the firewall between America and the Western world and Islamic terrorism.

They are not just defending themselves. They are defending us as well.

Yet even as the people of Israel continue to fight and bleed and die, those they are defending are increasingly turning against them. Support for Israel in America and Europe has cratered like never before. This is a recipe for disaster.

That’s why it is so important that we take a stand. As you may know, Israel has commissioned Friends of Zion to host the official anniversary event for the October 7 attacks. Ambassador David Friedman is the chairman of this event, and former President Donald Trump will be part of the event. Please send an extra gift today to support this event to combat Jew hatred.

The threat of terrorism driven by the demonic hatred on display on 9/11 is not just something in the past.

Just a few days ago, I got an intelligence update that highlighted how close Iran is to going nuclear. They have been enriching uranium to higher and higher levels, and according to the experts, they are on the very brink of finishing their first nuclear weapons. The reason they have unleashed their terrorist proxies Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis is to try to prevent Israel from being able to stop them.

The October 7 attack was approved by Iran. They paid $10,000 to each terrorist who killed a Jew and offered a new home to anyone who brought a hostage back to Gaza. They planned this attack and the war that followed to exhaust Israel and keep the West from focusing on their atomic program.

Make no mistake, when Iran threatens to “wipe Israel off the map,” they are not blustering. They mean every word. That’s why they want nuclear weapons. Even though using them would lead to a quick retaliation, they are willing to accept the deaths of millions of their own people to launch a war.

In their twisted theology, that is the only way to bring back the “Twelfth Madhi” and bring Muslim rule over the entire world. They don’t fear a war. They think it is essential. They believe that you and I and the entire world will bow the knee to Islam when that apocalypse happens.

Yet just as before, so many people are downplaying the threat and saying that it really doesn’t matter. The Biden Administration has followed in the footsteps of the Obama Administration, providing billions of dollars to the government in Iran, which they are using to fund terrorism and accelerate their nuclear program. They call our president “Mullah Biden” in Iran because of his weak policies.

You and I are paying for Iran’s nuclear program with our tax dollars. What an outrage.

This is not just about Israel. As my friend Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reminds people, to Iran Israel is just the “little Satan.” America is the “great Satan.”

Iran’s nuclear program is not just a threat to the Jewish state and the Jewish people. It is a threat to everyone in the world who will not submit to Shia Islam. I told Prime Minister Netanyahu on July 4, 1980, that he would be prime minister of Israel (he was 28 and not involved in politics at all back then) during the most dangerous days in Israel’s history. That is today.

As we prepare to mark the solemn anniversary of the September 11 attack, I have to tell you that we have not learned the lesson. The threat is still there. But even if no one else listens, you and I can act.

This is first and foremost a spiritual battle. We are fighting against principalities and powers. I am the only Christian Zionist who ever interviewed Iran’s former president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He told me that as he spoke to the United Nations, he saw a green light fill the room and no one blinked. I watched the mullahs praying to the Mahdi with their hands raised while he spoke.

The demonic power threatening Israel and us is very, very real. And it cannot be defeated with any physical weapon. Paul wrote, “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10:4).

I have no doubt that God brought you and me together in the Jerusalem Prayer Team “for such a time as this.” We are a vital defense both for Israel and for our own homes as well.

But in addition to our prayers, we must continue to bless and help the Jewish people. We provide immediate humanitarian support and help with the expenses that are often so great. We host events at FOZ to honor the victims and survivors and let them know they are not alone. And we tell the truth about what is happening that the liberal media wants to ignore.

Israel is facing the threat of all-out war with Iran and I’m asking you to respond today with your emergency gift to save lives.

Of course at the same time, we are continuing to deliver food to more than 3,000 poor Holocaust survivors each week, provide help and resources to young IDF soldiers dealing with PTSD, minister to Jewish widows and orphans, operate the Friends of Zion Museum, and so much more. And all of this is in addition to our ongoing work in Ukraine.

None of this would be possible without the help of friends like you. And with the looming threat growing in Iran, we must work now to prepare to respond in the event of a war.

So today I’m asking you to take a stand. I’m asking you to not ignore the warning, like so many did before the 9/11 attacks. I’m asking you to pray more than ever before for the peace and protection of Israel…and our own homes and families.

I’m asking you to send a generous, even sacrificial gift because the need is so great, and time is so short. We can’t wait.

Will you stop right now — please don’t put this letter down — and pray, asking the Holy Spirit of God to direct you in how to respond? After you do that, please rush your response to me in the envelope provided.

We must do all we can while there is still time. Thank you in advance for your response. God bless you.

Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Dr. Mike Evans

P.S. God gave the prophet Ezekiel a sobering reminder. “But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood” (Ezekiel 33:6). We CANNOT, we MUST NOT look away. We must sound the alarm. That’s what I’m asking you to do with your gift today. Blow the trumpet and do your part to defend Israel…and our country as well.

The same demonic hatred that launched the 9/11 attacks is behind the centrifuges spinning in Iran to enrich uranium for nuclear weapons and behind the war being waged against Israel right now. And if we do not pray, speak out, and comfort those who are threatened, disaster will result. Your gift today for the Jerusalem Prayer Team is your love in action and on display to God’s Chosen People.

YES, Dr. Evans, I see the danger and want to do my part to sound the warning and to bless the Jewish people who are living with fear and anguish. My gift for the Jerusalem Prayer Team is:
