Bless and Defend God’s Chosen People

Dear Friend,

Shalom, shalom from your home in the Holy City, the Friends of Zion Center.

I am here in Israel as your ambassador, and I have to tell you that in all the dozens of trips I have made here in the last four and a half decades, I have NEVER seen so much hopelessness.

There is a dark cloud of threat and danger hanging over the head of every Jewish man, woman, and child in this country.

The country is dealing with a level of post-traumatic stress that is impossible to overstate.

The mayor of Sderot, near the Gaza border, told me that the vast majority of the people in his town have PTSD, including his own daughter.

Most of the precious people living in southern Israel are immigrants who made aliyah from Russia and Ukraine. Many of them came with nothing but a single suitcase.

The most dangerous region of Israel is the cheapest place to live…and that’s all they can afford. They have been bombed and attacked again and again, suffering unspeakable tragedy and loss.

And the people of Israel know what so much of the world thinks of them as well.

They see the anti-Israel resolutions at the United Nations…the blatantly anti-Semitic actions of the International Criminal Court…and the massive protests in support of the demonic terrorists who kill innocent Jews.

They need to know they are not alone.

That’s why we hosted the official Global Solidarity Event at the request of the government of Israel on October 7, the anniversary of the deadly Hamas attack on Israel that launched the current war.

Thanks to the help of friends like you, we were able to tell the nation that they are not alone.

This message is so powerful. Hope is so important.

I know how true that was in my own life. When I tried to defend my Jewish mother from his abuse, my father strangled me and left me for dead when I was 11. That night the Lord told me that I was His son, that He loved me, and that he had a great plan for my life.

I was never the same after that life-changing night when for the first time I had hope for the future.

The nation of Israel needs hope today, and I’m asking you to help us give it to them.

As you may know, we are working to launch the Jerusalem World Prayer Center. This will be a global prayer headquarters for Believers to join hands together to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the protection of Israel.

This will be a powerful weapon in the spirit war that is raging…the war that MUST be fought and won before the physical battles can be won.

But it will be even more.

The JWPC will be a source of hope for suffering Jewish people. We will set up a hope line where people with needs can call in. Our team will be able to encourage them, pray with them, and connect them to resources to help address their challenges.

This is going to make the already amazing light of Christian love shining from your Friends of Zion Center even brighter.

And I have some wonderful news to share with you. Some dear friends have stepped forward with a special Matching Gift Challenge.

That means your gift today will do twice as much to help us bring the Jerusalem World Prayer Center to life…and will do twice as much to bless the suffering Jewish people and give them the hope that they so desperately need.

Of course, we can’t stop delivering food to poor Holocaust survivors, helping the refugees who have been driven from their homes by the war, encouraging and ministering to the families of those still being held hostage, supporting young IDF soldiers dealing with the physical and mental impact of what they have endured, and so much more.

But we must move forward now with the JWPC, and that means we urgently need your help.

I am praying that you and every friend and partner will join hands to help us take full advantage of the powerful opportunity God has placed before us.

Please let me hear from you right away.

Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Dr. Mike Evans

P.S. Remember that your gift today will be doubled through the Matching Gift Challenge. The suffering Jewish people need us now more than ever. And as friends like you stand with us, we will be able to continue to provide the help and hope they so desperately need. Thank you in advance for your generous response.

Thanks to a special Matching Gift Challenge, your gift for the Jerusalem Prayer Team will be doubled to have twice the impact on the suffering Jewish people. Together we will continue to meet the urgent humanitarian needs in Israel and Ukraine, and together we will launch the Jerusalem World Prayer Center as a powerful tool to bless and defend God’s Chosen People.

Please be as generous as you can when you give today.

YES, Dr. Evans, I want to bring help and hope to Israel and take advantage of this opportunity to double the impact of my support for the Jerusalem Prayer Team.
