Help and Hope for the Suffering People of Israel
Dear Friend,
Shalom from your home in the Holy City, your Friends of Zion Center. I have been here as your voice of hope, and I can tell you that you are making a huge difference for suffering Jewish people.
I’ve been here in the war zone. I even went north near the Lebanon border and watched rockets flying overhead.
We have been working with the hostage families since their loved ones were taken more than a year ago. A number of them were at your Friends of Zion Center for the official State of Israel’s October 7 Global Solidarity event that your love and support made possible. You are touching their lives in so many powerful ways, and I want you to know how deeply they appreciate what you have done for them.
While I was praying in Jerusalem, the Lord gave me a very powerful word. One word from God can change your life forever. I’m sure you’re aware of the crisis Israel faces with Iran’s strongest proxy, Hezbollah. There are more than a quarter of a million missiles and more than 100,000 trained terrorists. This is making life a living hell for the State of Israel, especially those who live in the northern part of the country near the border with Lebanon.
We are housing homeless Israelis who live on that border at your Friends of Zion Heritage Center campus. But there are thousands more in bomb shelters and temporary housing who are living without urgently needed food and medicine. If you are able to send a generous gift today, it would be an answer to prayer.
The most astonishing thing about this war is that the world continues to support Iran’s terrorist proxies. You saw it on the university campuses. On October 5, a massive rally took place at Times Square in New York in support of Hamas. Imagine that! 48 hours before October 7 and the anniversary of the attack, Americans came from all over the United States to Times Square, investing their time and their money to show their support for a terrorist organization that beheaded Jewish people, raped them, and burned them alive.
I have never seen so much hopelessness as I’m seeing now in the State of Israel. The Israeli people feel totally alone. I keep telling them they’re not alone, but it’s hard for them to believe that when they see the whole world, including American media, turning against them. They know if Kamala Harris becomes president, they will not have a friend in the White House.
The United Nations General Assembly recently passed a resolution requiring Israel to withdraw completely from the West Bank…the Bible lands of Judea and Samaria and an integral part of Israel. Only 14 nations voted against this ridiculous and dangerous plan.
And there has never been so much anti-Semitism as is taking place now. It’s increased 140% in the last 12 months. This year, there have been 2,177 anti-Semitic attacks globally, and over 1,000 bomb threats. As unimaginable as it is, 196 Jewish people, including rabbis and Holocaust survivors, have been assaulted, and almost 7,000 have been violently harassed.
We can’t close our eyes or ears to their cries. The Bible says the people that know their God shall be strong and do exploits. This ministry’s foundation was laid when a little 11-year-old Jewish boy was attempting to defend his Jewish mother at 2:15 on a Saturday morning and his father, who was abusing her and who hated Jews, strangled him. That little boy is me.
When I woke up gagging on my own vomit, I raised my fist to God in the dark and screamed, “Why was I born?” I was angry that I was alive. My father never called me son. Never said I love you. He never affirmed me. He believed that I was not his son, that my mother had an affair with the Jewish man, and he abused me violently. I thought my mother was being beaten up because of me, but at that moment, I realized why I was born. I could not defend one Jew against a Jew hater. My life’s call was to defend all the Jews.
That little boy had no chance in the natural to become the person that God used to prophesy over Benjamin Netanyahu when he was 28 years old on the 4th of July in 1980 that he would be the prime minister of Israel. And that boy told that prophecy to Prime Minister Menachem Begin on the 5th of July and asked him to give Netanyahu a job in the government. Begin did.
The last time I received a phone call from Benjamin Netanyahu was at 3:15 in the morning. I had a dream. The Bible says old men would dream dreams. I dreamed that I was on the beach and Benjamin Netanyahu was there, and I said, “Do you need prayer? If you do stand in the circle, and I’ll pray for you.” As I said it, I could see my cell phone ringing in the sand. I’ve never seen my cell phone in the sand or ringing in a dream. When I opened my eyes, shockingly, my cell phone was ringing, and on the other end of the line was Benjamin Netanyahu.
When I think of some of the words that I’ve heard chanted in New York City and on college campuses, it breaks my heart. “Say it loud. Say it clear. We don’t want no Zionists here. From the river to the sea, Palestine is all you see. Jews go back to Poland,” they shout.
This is a spiritual battle. The Bible says we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers. Satan declared he would exalt himself above God. He would sit on the Temple Mount. Your Friends of Zion Center is within walking distance of the Temple Mount. This is a spiritual battle, and it only can be won with people of prayer.
Vice President Mike Pence told me in the White House when Donald Trump was President, that we had a major impact on Donald Trump recognizing Jerusalem and on all the decisions he made to stand with Israel. He said there is no evangelical ministry that has influenced President Trump more than your ministry.
At the time, we were asked to host the official embassy Gala at the dedication of the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem, which Senator Lindsey Graham, Senator Ted Cruz, Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin, Senior Advisor to the President Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump, and the U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman attended.
The Bible says, “I will bless them that bless thee and curse them that curse thee.” All throughout the Bible, in times of crisis, God chose people who would rise up. Esther was one of them. Nehemiah was another one. I believe God has chosen you right now to be that Esther, that Nehemiah, and to stand in the gap. As David said when he faced Goliath, “Is there not a cause?”
I’m asking you to send a generous Holy Spirit-led financial gift, a holy offering to Jerusalem. Jesus brought up holy offerings to Jerusalem. Your support will help us with the widows and orphans in the nation of Israel and the homeless and the wounded Israel Defense Forces soldiers and the families of the hostages and terrified and impoverished Russian and Ukrainian Holocaust survivors who came to Israel with nothing. It will also help us fight back against the lies from hell.
With your gift of $60 or more, we will send you a beautiful Israeli solidarity bracelet. This is a powerful prayer reminder that you will enjoy wearing and a great way to share your love and support of Israel with everyone who sees it.
If you are able to send a gift of $100 or more, we will send you our new Micah 4:2 afghan. This colorful piece is one you will be proud to display in your home or office…and a reminder that you are helping fulfill the prophecy of God’s Word going around the world from Jerusalem.
Perhaps you can do even more. If you are able to send a gift of $1,000 or more, we will send you the bracelet and the afghan, and a genuine page of the New Testament from a 1611 King James Bible. Your page comes framed and ready to display, and it is a wonderful testament to the faithfulness of God to keep His Word.
I’m praying that some of our precious partners will be able to send an extravagant gift of $5,000 or more that will turn the head of God and move His hand. You’re going to hear, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Enter thou into the joy of the Lord.”
As part of this ministry, you are a part of a 100-year plan. Your Friends of Zion Center will be a legacy you still have in 10 years, 20 years, 30 years, 40 years, 50 years, and even 100 years after you are gone.
I told the Prime Minister when I saw him that I was going to ask you to send a proclamation of support for him and the nation of Israel so they realize they are not alone. This is the word and the promise God gave me for you: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).
With all my heart, no matter what you’re faced with, I believe God is going to renew your strength. He’s going to lift you up above your circumstances and strengthen you with healing virtue. I declare it and decree it in the mighty name of Jesus. To God be all the glory. Amen.
Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Dr. Mike Evans
P.S. Your holy offering today will touch the lives of suffering Jewish people and show them true Christian love in action. Again and again while I’ve been in Israel people have come up to say “Thank you” for the help and hope they have received, but they’re really thanking you not me. That’s because it is the generous support of friends like you that make everything we are doing possible. I look forward to hearing from you very soon.
P.P.S. Please add your name to the proclamation of support as you make your gift below so that I can include your name on the honored list of those standing with Israel in this crisis. God bless you for caring and making a difference.
