A Special Word from Israel for You

Dear Friend,

As you may know, I was in Israel when the U.S. elections were held. We put up billboards and posters around the country congratulating President Trump on the victory and encouraging him to once again stand with Israel as he did in his first term in office.

This sparked an amazing amount of media attention.

I was interviewed — not just by virtually every major media outlet in Israel, but by some of the biggest names in both American and international news…even Al Jazeera covered the story and showed the pictures of our ads to the entire Arab world.

I am so grateful for that media attention because it gave me the opportunity to share the powerful word that God gave me for the nation of Israel again and again.

This is a prophetic crossroads moment in human history.

What happens between now and January 20th next year when President Trump returns to the Oval Office will shape the future of the Middle East for generations to come.

Here’s what I told people in Israel, and what you need to know. Understand this…what we are told in the media is often far from what is really happening.

So here’s the truth.

The war with Iran can be won before President Trump takes the oath of office on January 20. That’s because Israel has significantly weakened both Hamas and Hezbollah, as well as seriously degrading Iran’s missile defenses in Operation Days of Repentance when Israel’s air force hit numerous targets in response to Iran’s direct attack on Israel in October.

An Israeli strike at Iran’s oil facilities would cripple the radical mullahs of Tehran. They would no longer be able to fund Hamas, Hezbollah, and their other terrorist proxies. Their ballistic missile program would grind to a halt.

And there is even more.

There are 89 million people in Iran, and many of them are no fans of the repressive regime in Tehran. A shock to Iran’s economy might be the spark for a popular uprising against the government.

My friend Prime Minister Netanyahu recently recorded a message to the people of Iran.

He reminded them that the two countries had a very close relationship prior to the overthrow of the Shah in 1979. And he told them that Israel’s fight is not against them, but against the government that continues to attack Israel.

Since President Trump was elected, Iran has experienced an economic shock wave. Numerous people in Iran have been throwing parties since the election despite official bans. They are going against the mullahs, and the mullahs can’t do anything because there’s too many people involved.

The window is open…more than at any time since the Islamic Revolution turned Iran from one of Israel’s closest friends to its most bitter enemy.

If Israel takes action, the threat of an atomic attack from Iran could be removed forever.

What a blessing that would be to a nation that has lived under the looming threat of a mushroom cloud for years!

There are so many things involving government leaders in America, in Israel, and across the Middle East that I cannot share publicly. But I can tell you this: God is at work. And as part of the Jerusalem Prayer Team, you are playing a crucial role in what is happening behind the scenes.

We’ve already seen so many things that people said were impossible. We saw the U.S. Embassy finally move to Jerusalem. We saw the Abraham Accords signed.

When God moves, nothing is impossible!

The Jerusalem Prayer Team was critical to all this and so much more. Vice President Pence told me at the White House how important our work was to making all of this a reality. Your prayers, your voice and your generosity truly made the world a different place.

Now the doors to the impossible are opening again, and I am asking you to walk through those doors with us.

And I urgently need your help with something else.

While I was in Israel, my heart was broken again and again as I saw the toll more than a year of war has taken on the Jewish people.

I visited cities where 80% or more of the homes had been destroyed. I met some of the more than 100,000 refugees who are homeless in their own country because of the constant attacks.

The mayor of one northern Israeli city told me that almost everyone who is still in his town — so many have fled — is dealing with traumatic stress. It’s not PTSD because it isn’t post. The attacks are still going on every day.

These precious people need everything. They need baby formula. They need clothes for their kids. They need food. They need housing.

Everything that a person could possibly need, they need. They need counseling. They need bomb shelters.

Winter is here, and it gets very cold in the mountains in the north of Israel.

We are going to do everything we can to help, but what we are able to do will be determined by how our partners respond. I am asking you today to rush your Holy Spirit-led sacrificial Christmas offering for the Jewish people.

A gift of $50 can provide a warm coat to an elderly Holocaust survivor.

Whatever you can do will be put to work immediately.

The suffering Jewish people need to know that they are not alone. They need more than words…they need to see our love in action.

Thank you in advance for your generous response.

Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Dr. Mike Evans

P.S. Please pray urgently and fervently for God’s hand of protection over Israel and for leaders in Jerusalem and Washington to do what needs to be done to end the threat from Iran. Please pray for the collapse of the radical terrorist regime in Tehran. Please pray for the suffering Jewish people. And please rush your special Christmas offering today to help “the least of these.”
