The people of Israel need us in this prophetic moment

Dear Friend,

I have sent a prayerful letter to my dear friend of more than 40 years, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, inviting him to come to Washington, D.C., for the inauguration of President Trump, and to a special event we will be hosting the day before the inauguration. This event will be for evangelical leaders and friends of Israel from across the country.

We will be joined by former ambassador to Israel David Friedman, and the newly appointed ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee. These two men have made American support for Israel a vital focus of their work, and we will honor them there.

The need for friends of Israel to speak up is greater than ever. 

The protests against Israel and in support of Hamas across the country have not let up. A resolution was recently pushed in Congress to block all U.S. military aid to Israel — tying Israel’s hands as it fights a war for survival. 

The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel and his former defense minister, Yoav Gallant, for war crimes…for defending Israel against the Iranian-funded massacre.

Iran has been rushing forward work on its nuclear weapons program even as Israel has significantly weakened both Hamas and Hezbollah. 

The time for us to act is now. 

We must encourage the incoming administration to make it clear, both at home and around the world, that America stands with Israel, and that will never change.

Below is a special proclamation of prayer and blessing for both Prime Minister Netanyahu and Governor Mike Huckabee. I’m asking you to add your name to them so that these two men will know you are standing with them.

This is a prophetic crisis moment. These are the most dangerous days in Israel’s modern history. 

There are many things that I’m not allowed to talk about regarding Iran and what is coming next, but I urge you to join me in fervent prayer.

Our prayers are so vitally important right now. 

This is a spirit war, not just a physical war. The physical war cannot be won until after the spirit war is won. 

And the spirit war cannot be won by any tanks or planes or guns or rockets. It must be won as Believers join together in prayer to do battle against principalities and powers.

And our help is so vitally important right now. 

The people of Israel are suffering more than you can imagine.

When I was in Israel recently, I asked the mayor of one of the towns in the north that has been devastated by Hezbollah rockets, drones, and missiles what his people need. “Everything,” he said. And he’s not exaggerating. He also told me that everyone in his town is suffering from traumatic stress…even his own children.

There are more than 100,000 refugees in Israel right now who are homeless. They were forced to flee by the war, taking only what they could carry. 

Some of them will never return to their home because it has been destroyed. They have lost everything.

There is an urgent need for food, including baby formula, for clothing, including warm coats for the cold of winter. 

There is a desperate need for housing for those who have nowhere safe to live. The young IDF soldiers who have borne the weight of war for more than a year need help with the physical and emotional scars they have endured.

The list goes on and on. 

One of the most desperate needs is for portable bomb shelters. Since so many families are on the move right now, they need a safe place to go when the warning sirens sound. For $20,000, we can provide a fully equipped bomb shelter that will hold several families.

The elderly Holocaust survivors we deliver food to — thousands every week — are depending on us. 

The families of those still being held hostage — more than 100 people are still not home — are depending on us. 

The children who need somewhere to learn — dozens of schools have been closed or damaged — are depending on us.

I want to say YES to every request we get for help…and we are getting so many requests because your love and generosity have impacted the whole nation…but I can’t do that unless you say YES first.

As we near the end of the year, we have just a few days left to do something truly great for God together. I am praying that you will respond to this letter with your most generous gift.
