We must take on this virus of evil
Dear Friend,
Shalom, shalom from your home in the Holy City, the Friends of Zion Center.
I came to Israel at the invitation of the government to speak at the Global Summit on Anti-Semitism.
The invitation itself is a testament to the powerful impact your support of the Jerusalem Prayer Team has made on the Jewish people — not just in Israel but around the world.
I was asked to speak because we are one of the leading voices combating this ancient evil.
Another testimony to the effectiveness of this work is the opposition we have faced.
A few years ago, Facebook shut down our site in response to complaints from Muslim governments. They removed 47 million followers—yes, you read that right, 47 million—who lived in Muslim countries. Pakistan was the first to complain that we were reaching too many Muslim young people.
Anti-Semitism is not new.
It is a deadly virus that has spread and mutated through the centuries.
It is far more dangerous than COVID or even Ebola. It sparked the pogroms across Europe. It laid the foundation for the Holocaust.
It killed my great-grandfather.
I was named for Rabbi Mikel Katz-Nelson who was burned to death inside his synagogue with 2,000 other Jews. One of them, the cantor, was the grandfather of the 9th president of Israel, Shimon Peres who was our international chairman until his death.
I experienced anti-Semitism first-hand when I was growing up.
The virus infected my father, who was a Jew-hater and beat my mother. When I was 11, I tried to protect her, and he strangled me and left me for dead. But when he went to church, they called him “Brother Bob” and thought he was a respectable man.
It is vital that we take on this virus of evil.
You cannot defeat it with physical tools. Demons don’t clear customs. You cannot defeat it by reacting after it manifests itself because Jews end up dead. What we need is a transformation.
After Hitler’s defeat and the Nuremberg Trials, a campaign was created to reeducate the entire German population.
They had been indoctrinated to hate and fear Jews. They removed from power all of the leadership in the de-Nazification of Germany.
The virus had to be eradicated. The program included cultural reforms, economic reforms, and community involvement.
Just as it was in Germany, the virus of anti-Semitism is deeply ingrained in the people of Gaza.
Hamas has controlled the schools for almost 20 years. They’ve taught generations of children that Jews have horns and tails, and that killing a Jew is a guaranteed ticket to Paradise.
So who will tell the Palestinian people the truth?
It won’t be the Jew-haters at the United Nations or the International Criminal Court. It won’t be the radical Islamic mullahs in Tehran. It won’t be the mobs protesting at America’s colleges and universities.
It’s up to you and me.
Israel knows the truth, but they won’t be listened to by those infected with the virus of anti-Semitism.
This is a project we who love and support the Jewish state and the Jewish people must carry out.
And that’s why I’m asking for your help today.
In addition to everything we are doing to comfort and help the suffering Jewish people — and it is so much…I’ve been amazed by what I’ve seen on this trip — we are also standing on the front lines of the fight against anti-Semitism.
Your Friends of Zion Center is the hub of a global network using the tools so often used by anti-Semites like the Internet and social media, to tell the truth and combat the lies.
We look for threats before they are carried out to identify danger.
We help the government of Israel share their messages with the world.
Your ministry is the largest pro-Israel social network platform combating anti-Semitism in the world.
Since the October 7 massacre, 50 million people have viewed our videos mobilizing support for Israel, the hostages and their families…and that’s all thanks to your generous support.
The virus of anti-Semitism never sleeps. That means we have to be on guard around the clock.
The work is constant and requires staff and programming and equipment and more.
And of course we can’t stop delivering food to poor Holocaust survivors, housing refugee families, comforting widows and orphans or any of the other vital things we are doing every single day. And that means we need your help.
Your generous gift today will both comfort those who are suffering and combat the deadly virus of anti-Semitism.
This is a fight Israel can’t win alone…but together we can win!
When you send your gift today, you’ll receive a copy of my book Jew-Hatred and the Church. In it, I delve into the history of anti-Semitism and the ways in which the Church has failed to stand for the Jewish people…and lay out a path forward to encourage Believers to stand firm in defense of Israel. Chapters include: Acts of the Early Church, Apostasy Arises, Divisive Disunity, Rome and Reformation, Hitler’s “Justification,” Anti-Semitism: Alive and Growing, Reconciliation or Change, and much more.
This is our “such a time as this” moment, and we must not fail to answer the call.
Please let me hear from you right away. And thank you in advance for standing with us as we stand against the anti-Semitism that threatens the Jewish state and the Jewish people.
Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Dr. Mike Evans
P.S. The people of Israel are so grateful for what you are doing for them in this prophetic crisis hour. Everywhere I’ve been people have thanked me — and they are really thanking you, I’m just there to talk to them — for what we are doing across Israel and around the world. Please be as generous as you can when you send your gift today.
Help Build a Wall of Defense for Israel
God has called and commissioned us to stand against the demonic virus of anti-Semitism. We must do even more to fight this battle. Your generous and sacrificial gift today will help us prepare this amazing outreach and continue all of our work to bless and defend God’s Chosen People.
