Help Wage the War for the Truth

Dear Friend,

God has opened a truly miraculous door for us to walk through, and I’m so excited to be able to share it with you today.

As you may know, I have met with my dear friend Prime Minister Netanyahu several times this year in both Washington and Jerusalem. 

When I met with him a few days ago, the strain of leading his nation in the face of so many threats was evident. 

I’m asking you today to pray for him in a special way. He really needs divine strength and wisdom.

And he told me again what he has told me at almost every meeting since the deadly October 7 invasion of Israel by Hamas…the most important thing we can do for Israel is to reach the next generation, combating the lies of anti-Semitism that are turning so many people, especially young people, against Israel.

The Prime Minister of Israel has officially endorsed our Friends of Zion Ambassador Program. He has even agreed to sign the diplomas for those who go through the program! Our vision is for pastors and leaders to become ambassadors to reach the next generation.

Israel is asking us to bring 1,000 pastors this summer to be commissioned as ambassadors. They believe in it so strongly after seeing the curriculum I wrote and knowing what we’ve accomplished through the decades that they are going to help underwrite the expenses!

That’s right…the government of Israel will invest a dollar for every dollar you give toward this effort. This is truly a miracle!

The launch of this program with the first 1,000 pastors will cost us a little over $1 million. In the natural, that sounds impossible, especially with people going on vacations in the summer. 

The only way we can achieve this is as the Holy Spirit speaks to your heart and the heart of every partner to give a matching fund gift.

I have been your ambassador for almost half a century. Imagine 1,000 ambassadors commissioned just this summer. And God-willing, 10,000 more commissioned next year. It will be amazing.

This is the biggest step of faith of my life. 

It’s the first time the state of Israel has reached out to Bible believers like this, and we must not miss it. The future of Israel is hanging in the balance.

I know you’ve seen the same shocking news reports of the pro-Hamas, anti-Israel protests across the country. These have been especially bad at elite schools like Columbia in New York City. Students wearing masks and Palestinian headscarves harassed and threatened Jewish students and chanted: “From the river to the sea, Palestine must be free.”

Of course, the river is the Jordan, and the sea is the Mediterranean…that’s all of Israel. This evil chant is nothing less than a call for the destruction of Israel.

There has been a concerted effort made over the past few years to turn the hearts and minds of young people away from supporting Israel.

Demonic principalities and powers have used the Internet and social media to spread lies about Israel and the Jewish people and convince the next generation that Israel does not deserve support…in fact that the Jewish state does not even deserve to exist.

As you read this letter today, a war against truth is being waged, delegitimizing Israel’s very right to exist.

The youth of our generation by and large have rejected a biblical worldview and are embracing the lie that Israel is an apartheid state robbing Palestinians of their homeland. In the name of social justice, they are turning against Israel.

A recent survey showed that 56% of Americans under 30 say they have an unfavorable view of Israel. 56%!!!! These are the leaders of tomorrow. What will happen if this trend continues?

The death of six million Jews in the Holocaust didn’t start in the concentration camps and gas chambers. It started on university campuses and in the media. And we are seeing that pattern repeated before our eyes today.

Tragically, this turn against Israel is not just happening in the secular world, but it is happening in the church as well. Almost half of younger evangelical Christians do not have a positive view of Israel. While the number among older Americans is still strong (nearly 80%) in support of Israel, the future is coming, and that is cause for alarm…and a clear call to action.

That’s why we’re working on the launch of the Ambassador Program, an outreach aimed at today’s young people. 

We will be working to bring leaders to Israel to equip them to stand for the Jewish people. We will be working to counter the lies being spread on social media about Israel. We will be producing content and training teams and so much more.

This is a vital part of God’s plan to win the war for Israel’s future.

But of course this is going to be an extremely expensive project, and it is happening at a time when the need for our humanitarian outreaches is more important than ever. We can’t stop feeding poor Holocaust survivors or housing poor refugee families or ministering to injured IDF soldiers or any of the other vital things we are doing.

So I’m asking you today to do something truly great for God…and remember that the impact of your gift will be doubled as the government of Israel joins hands with us in the Ambassador Program.

There is no doubt in my mind that this is God at work.

At a time when the financial needs are so urgent, this opportunity will allow us to launch the Ambassador Program and start reaching out to today’s young people — the leaders of tomorrow — before it is too late.

But it all depends on friends like you. I’m asking you today to send your generous, Holy Spirit-led offering for Israel as we work together to meet the needs of today and the future. 

Israel is at a critical prophetic crossroads. In my spirit, I hear the ancient words “you have come into the kingdom for such a time as this.”

Please don’t delay your response. We must take the first steps to launch the Ambassador Program right away and continue meeting the urgent needs of suffering Jewish people.
