Fighting the Spirit War Together

Dear Friend,

I just got an update from one of our key people in Israel about what is going on, and I just have to share it with you.

It may be the single most heartbreaking and terrifying…and also infuriating thing I’ve heard in my whole life. He told us that the bus stop where the terrorist shooting attack killed six people is one he passes every day on his way to work. The terrorists came from a village very close to where he lives.

As he was talking with his family about what happened, his young children told him that if terrorists ever came to their home, they wanted him to kill them himself so that they would not be taken and tortured.

I can’t imagine little kids feeling that way. My heart broke for them. But they think that for a reason: the deadly history of Jewish people being murdered. 

Six people were killed in that ambush. Four of them were rabbis. One was a husband who only recently got married. One lady was on her way to work. They are real people, and their families are grieving the unthinkable loss.

While I was praying, the Lord gave me a special word for your life.

In light of what is happening right now in Israel, this is vitally important. Israel has been fighting to survive ever since the miracle rebirth of the Jewish state in 1948, but this is different.

The Jewish people are under attack — not because of land, or “genocide” or anything else. They are under attack because they are Jewish, and the dark evil of anti-Semitism is on the rise all around the world.

From the United Nations to the International Criminal Court and in other international organizations, moves are being made against Israel. The Jewish state is largely isolated as they fight to survive, and we must not leave them alone. They need to know that you are standing with them, and that’s why I’m writing to you today with a powerful word from the Lord.

I urge you to read this very carefully because as I have learned in my own life, one word from God can change your life forever.

It is not by accident or coincidence that as a beloved Jerusalem Prayer Team member, you are part of the largest prayer movement in history supporting the nation of Israel and the Jewish people. God brought us together “for such a time as this.”

The physical war makes the headlines, but you and I are fighting a spirit war that is being waged against Israel by principalities and powers.

I’m reminded of Daniel 11:32: “The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” The entire world is turning its back on the State of Israel and its new government, and that means it is time for us to do great exploits for God and His Chosen People.

As you may know, I prophesied over Benjamin Netanyahu on the 4th of July 1980 that he’d be the prime minister of Israel. I told the prophecy to Prime Minister Menachem Begin on the 5th of July. I asked him to give Netanyahu a job in the government, and he did. Netanyahu has the most Bible-based government in my lifetime and because of it, the entire world is in a rage.

The last time he called me for prayer was at 3:15 in the morning. I was in the middle of a dream that he needed prayer, and my cell phone was ringing. I opened my eyes, and the phone was ringing, and it was my friend calling for prayer.

The United Nations adopted 99 resolutions against Israel, 41 against Syria, 13 against Iran, and 4 against Russia from 2006-2022. In 2022, a UN resolution, which was supported by the vast majority of the countries of the world, declared Israel an apartheid state guilty of war crimes, stated that the Golan Heights overlooking the Galilee is occupied territory and that Judea and Samaria are occupied territories. It also claimed that Israel’s historic capital of Jerusalem is occupied territory.

The U.N. Security Council approved a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza without calling for Hamas to release the hostages they still hold. Nation after nation announced their recognition of a Palestinian state…something does not exist and never has.

Since the Hamas attack, colleges and universities across America have been on fire as students and faculty rally to support Hamas. The chants are demonic. “Make us proud! Kill another soldier now!” “Remember October 7th! It will happen not one more time or five more times, but 10,000 more times!”

They hold up signs in support of terrorist organizations such as the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and Hezbollah, screaming, “Globalize the Intifada. We will never let up or let down until Zionism is destroyed, and the Zionists start to hide like Nazis!”

They chant slogans like, “Say it loud, say it clear, we don’t want no Zionists here. From the river to the sea, Palestine is all you’ll see. Jews go back to Poland.”

Everything we’re talking about can be understood from the prophet Isaiah who said in Isaiah 14:9-15:

“Hell from beneath is excited about you,
To meet you at your coming;
It stirs up the dead for you,
All the chief ones of the earth;
It has raised up from their thrones
All the kings of the nations.
They all shall speak and say to you:
‘Have you also become as weak as we?
Have you become like us?
Your pomp is brought down to Sheol,
And the sound of your stringed instruments;
The maggot is spread under you,
And worms cover you.’
“How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!
For you have said in your heart:
I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation
On the farthest sides of the north;
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.’
Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol,
To the lowest depths of the Pit.

Isaiah is describing a spiritual battle that centers on the Temple Mount, which is 600 meters from your Friends of Zion Center. As you may remember, your Jerusalem Prayer Team played a key role in the U.S. government’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, the Golan Heights recognition, and much more. I was personally told this by Vice President Mike Pence in the White House. He said that there was no evangelical ministry that influenced President Trump more than we did.

We hosted the official gala before the dedication of the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem with Sen. Lindsey Graham, Sen. Ted Cruz, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump, and U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman. I spoke at the event and was invited into a private meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu, Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, and Ambassador Friedman right after the embassy dedication.

At that event, a young man approached me and thanked me for what we were doing. He told me how strongly he supported Israel. His name was Charlie Kirk. His murder is a great loss to the cause of freedom and the cause of Israel. 

My dear friend and partner, Genesis 12:3 is still in the Bible. It is as true today as it was thousands of years ago: “I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee.”

Every nation that has lifted up its hand against the Jewish people and the nation of Israel throughout history was cursed by God. Many countries that were once great powers are now in the dustbin of history. I don’t want that to happen to America. If the Jew-haters get their way, America will cease being a friend and supporter of Israel.

Daniel 12:3 says, “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” There’s no doubt in my mind where you stand. It’s time for us to shine.

I will be going back to Israel soon to meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu and welcome the first group of 1,000 Ambassador Program participants…pastors and leaders we are equipping to reach young people with the truth about Israel. 

I must let Prime Minister Netanyahu, his government, and the state of Israel know that Bible-believing Americans are behind them. Silence on our part will be interpreted as support for the demonic plans of the liberal left to weaken and eventually destroy Israel.

When David beheld the dilemma that Israel faced from the giant Goliath, he stood up and spoke boldly. He declared, “Is there not a cause?” Jeremiah stood up against principalities and powers in the days of Babylon’s invasion declaring the word of the Lord. Daniel did the same thing when he was taken hostage to Babylon.

You and I have come into the kingdom for such a time as this. I want to go back to Israel with your name in my hand. I want to place your name in Prime Minister Netanyahu’s hand, letting him know that as for you and your house, you will serve the Lord and stand by the Jewish people in the state of Israel.

I believe with all my heart that demonic principalities and powers are going to keep trying everything they can to destroy the state of Israel. But I also believe that if you and I speak up and stand up that this curse can be reversed and the victory can be won.

That’s why I’m asking you to add your name to the proclamation to declare your support for Israel that I will present to the state of Israel and to Prime Minister Netanyahu. They need to know they’re not alone in this battle.
