A Prophetic Warning from God
Dear Friend,
When I woke up this morning and went to my prayer room, the Holy Spirit of God shared a prophetic warning with me and instructed me to share it with you.
This word of warning is much like what we read in the story of Joseph. God sent Pharaoh dreams—to warn him of the danger of a coming famine.
God told Joseph what those dreams meant, and when he was brought before Pharaoh, Joseph gave him the warning. Joseph told Pharaoh that there would be seven good years, when the crops would be bountiful, but they would be followed by seven bad years that would result in great suffering and widespread death unless preparations were made ahead of time.
Pharaoh placed Joseph in charge of the project. Joseph built huge granaries across the land to store up food against the coming disaster. Israel was saved—Joseph’s own family—because the warning was heeded before it was too late.
On my first trip to Israel, I met a man by the name of Reuben, and I called him Joseph. He shook my hand strongly and said, “You called me Joseph.” I said, “It was a mistake. It was jet lag.” “No, you didn’t—it was intentional. The year was 1943, and my father was a shipbuilder. He was dying. He took my hand, and he whispered his last words, ‘Joseph, Joseph, Joseph, the nation of Israel will be born, and you will feed it bread. And he died.’ I sold the ship business, and I started the first granary of the nation of Israel because of that prophetic word from my father.”
That man, Reuben, became my mentor and opened up the whole nation of Israel. He brought me into Prime Minister Menachem Begin’s office at a very young age, where I told Menachem Begin that Benjamin Netanyahu would be the Prime Minister of Israel and asked him to give him a job in the government. Reuben looked at Menachem Begin and said, “Mike here is the voice of God, Menachem. Do it.” Menachem Begin did it, and the rest is history.
My beloved friend and partner, God has placed this prophetic word of warning in my spirit. Like Joseph, you and I must prepare now while there is still time for what is about to happen.
The last two years have been filled with wars. The deadly Hamas invasion started a chain of events. Iran attacked Israel directly for the first time ever. Israel and America struck Iran’s nuclear program in the Twelve Day War. Israel decimated the Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon. Fighting continues in Gaza.
The sad truth is that much of the world is blaming Israel for the war caused solely by the Jew-haters in Iran and their terrorist proxies. Nation after nation is recognizing Palestine—a state that does not exist and never has—and thinking that is the path to peace. It is a delusion…a deadly delusion.
God’s warning is this: much worse is lurking on the horizon.
The hate is real. And even if the fighting stops for a little while, that does not mean Israel is safe. A lot of people in the West fail to understand the depths of demonic hatred directed at the Jewish people.
I have seen it first-hand. I was in Lebanon in 1983, 42 years ago this month, ministering to the U.S. Marines stationed in Beirut. I preached to them and spent the night sleeping on the beach. The next morning, I was awakened by a massive explosion. A Hezbollah truck bomber drove explosives provided by Iran through the security barricades and killed more than 240 U.S. service members—the same young men I had preached to and given Bibles to the day before.
When I tried to leave the country after that attack, I was driving an Avis vehicle with Israeli license plates and terrorists were firing at us. We ran out of gas in the dark. A young teenager came up to us with a gas can, poured it into the tank, and then motioned us to unlock the door.
He never spoke a word but directed us for 22 kilometers over dirt roads. The vehicle was being spotlighted and fired at, but he led us safely to the border. When I got out of the car, I told the Israeli officer that the young man had saved us, but when I turned around to point him out, he was gone from the car. We all knew it was an angel who delivered us.
Iran is frantically working to rebuild their air defenses and the missile capacity. They are not done with their efforts to destroy Israel. A top IDF general warned recently that “more rounds with Iran are coming.”
When that war breaks out, fully half the people of Israel will be forced into bomb shelters, or into the safe rooms in their homes…probably for months, not weeks or days, just as they were during the Twelve Day War. I have stood in northern Israel and watched missiles fly overhead directed at Jewish homes and businesses and schools and synagogues in central Israel.
What will people in bomb shelters eat and drink? How will they survive? God has impressed this on my heart. Like Joseph, we MUST prepare now while there is still time.
The need is urgent. As I’m writing to you, a group of foreign dignitaries including a prime minister and cabinet members are at your Friends of Zion Center, proclaiming that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel…and while they were meeting another missile was fired by the Houthis, and they had to rush into our bomb shelter.
As you may remember, I flew to Israel immediately following the Hamas invasion in October of 2023. I met the families of the hostages and the survivors of the attacks. I met those who were grieving the death of a family member or dear friend. I met the young IDF soldiers putting their lives on the line to stop the attacks on their country.
I’ve been back again and again in these past two years, trying to be your voice of comfort and love to God’s Chosen People. We did all we could to help, but I felt so helpless. The damage had already been done, and we were scrambling to respond.
I don’t want that to happen again. I believe that is why God has given us this prophetic warning—so that like Joseph we will be ready when it comes. I am asking you today to do something to help those who will be suffering tomorrow.
I am sharing this emergency alert with you today because there is still time for us to prepare for what is coming. Your Friends of Zion Center is on the front lines of the fight for Israel’s future. We are a lighthouse of love and hope to the suffering souls of Israel. We are already feeding poor Holocaust survivors and housing refugees and hosting school classes and ministering to the families of hostages and so much more.
We are on the front lines and must continue with our outreaches. We can’t stop any of that. But we MUST prepare for the coming war as well…and time is running out. The precious people of Israel will need food, water, medical kits and so much more. Your gift will help meet these critical needs. Imagine if it were your family in harm’s way. These people are indeed your family and mine because Jesus called them His brothers and sisters.
Will you please rush your generous Holy Spirit-led offering of love for the Lord and His Chosen People today?
The looming threat of war is not the only need right now. As you know, we’re bringing 1,000 American pastors to be commissioned as ambassadors by the state of Israel. I am training them. The curriculum is 800 pages. This has been my vision and dream for over a decade. I am your ambassador. But God told me this is a 100-year plan, and I know being a 100-year plan, it will not include me. I’ll be gone. So, we’re raising up ambassadors to continue the work of being salt and light to the nation of Israel.
I presented this to the prime minister, and he approved it. The government of Israel has agreed to pay for their flights and hotels, but they’re not paying for the venues where the meetings will be held. We’re holding an ambassador summit, so we need a significant venue, and that will be seen by the nation of Israel and the world.
I just got a call that a number of the White House staff are planning on coming to Jerusalem for our event and want to know if they can stay in our apartments at your Friends of Zion Center. I’m sharing this with you because we haven’t raised the money for the venues. They’re extremely expensive to have 1,000 people in them, and we need one at least for an entire day.
In addition to that, we have the cost of the setup, which includes the staging, the sound system, lighting, and everything else. It’s going to cost us several hundred thousand dollars. But without these venues, it’ll be impossible for us to do this event in Israel with the thousand pastors. So I’m asking you to send an emergency gift as large as possible to help us with this urgent need.
I am planning my next trip to Israel, but I can’t go until I hear from you. I need to get things started on this emergency preparation plan, but without the resources we can’t begin purchasing the vast quantity of food and water and other supplies. I can’t be your ambassador unless you send me.
Will you be the hands of Jesus reached out in love to His Jewish brothers and sisters? Will you be the Good Samaritan reaching out to those who have been injured and wounded? Will you help us prepare to save the suffering souls of Israel from the coming war? I pray your answer will be yes.
Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Dr. Mike Evans
P.S. The only way the Jerusalem Prayer Team is able to be the great lighthouse of hope and love and help that Israel needs so desperately right now is if friends like you make it possible. We urgently need your help right now so that we can do everything possible to bless and defend God’s Chosen People in this prophetic crisis moment. I look forward to hearing from you very soon.
P.P.S. I have been told by Israeli leaders that attacks on the power grid could destroy much of the electrical system, which also means that no water can be pumped. It’s going to be a crisis—and we must prepare now. Jesus said, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
Standing in the Gap for
the Suffering of Israel
The horrible toll the war has already taken on the people of Israel is likely to get much worse when full war with Iran and their terrorist proxies bursts out again. Even as we continue to do all we can to help those who have suffered and lost so much, we must also prepare for what is to come. Your gift will allow us to reach out to those in need today and be ready to reach out to those who will be in need tomorrow. Please be as generous as you can when you send your gift today.
YES, Dr. Evans, I hear the call of God to comfort His people, and I am answering that call today. My gift for the work of the Jerusalem Prayer Team is:
