Let’s Do Something Truly Great for God

In just a few hours, we’ll be hosting 1,000 pastors and leaders who have gathered here in Israel as the first group to go through our Ambassador Program.

But before I tell you about that, I want to let you know what I prayed for you early this morning. The Spirit of God laid the ancient priestly prayer of Aaron on my heart, and I spoke it over your life at the Kotel, the Western Wall, and I put that prayer in the wall as a point of contact over you and your family.

“The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine upon you
and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up
his countenance upon you and give you
peace.” —Numbers 6:24-26

The reason I was able to pray that with such confidence for you is that you love and support and bless and defend God’s Chosen People through your partnership with me in the vital work of the Jerusalem Prayer Team. The promise God gave Abraham in Genesis 12:3 is still in full effect, and you are truly a blessing to Israel and the Jewish people.

If there is a special prayer need in your life, please share it with me on the enclosed reply form, and I will join you in the prayer of faith. God is about to do some amazing things, and I don’t want you to miss it. I am going to anoint your prayer request with oil and have it placed in the cracks of the Western Wall in Jerusalem by the Temple Mount where the Jewish people pray.

One of the most vital things we are doing together is the Ambassador Program. Here’s why it matters so much.

The progressive Left and the populist Right have joined forces to undermine and silence Bible believers, and they have a partner — radical Islamic funders. The terrorists kill the body, and the promise-haters kill the soul. The goal is to shame politicians and faithful Christians into confusion and silence.

A politician can be the most sincere person alive, but if he speaks about Israel, he is targeted. A pastor can preach biblical truth, but if he affirms the covenant, they say that he is infected with a brain virus. The Woke Right has adapted the Woke Left playbook: guilt, shame, moral inversion, and social intimidation. But instead of race, gender, or privilege, they use Israel, Jews, and Christian covenant theology as the target.

The rock that our faith is built on is that God is a promise keeper. The enemies of Israel want to take the Scriptures out of the Bible that have to do with Israel, and there are over 2,600 of them! They want Christians to believe God broke all His promises to the Jews. If they can get us to believe that, then our faith is in vain because He will break His promises to us. 

We must take a stand against this spreading evil.

What we are doing together starting today is going to change the future of our world. It is not just for the moment. 

This is God’s 100-Year Plan that will be echoing long after we have gone to heaven. We are laying a foundation for a defense of Israel that is purposed and shaped and prophetically destined “for such a time as this.”

You see, the gathering of these 1,000 pastors and leaders to be commissioned as ambassadors is just the first step. 

Next year with God’s help, we’ll have 10,000 more…and launch an online university to train 1 million pastors and churches to stand with the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. This program is based upon the promises of God to combat anti-Semitism. (This is personal to me because my father strangled me at age 11 when I attempted to defend my Jewish mother from his abuse.)

These pastors and leaders are being trained and equipped especially to reach young people. I know you’ve seen the same troubling news reports that I have about the decline in support for Israel among those who will be the leaders of tomorrow. It is vital that we reach them now before it is too late, and that is exactly what the Ambassador Program does.

But we are facing a real challenge. The government of Israel has partnered with us in a miraculous way, covering the vast majority of the costs for this event, including all the costs of travel and lodging for our new ambassadors. Israel has invested $5 million in commissioning these ambassadors, but our part of the expenses is 10%…$500,000, which we urgently need to raise immediately to pay the bills.

When I got the latest update after arriving in Israel, we are still well short of the funds we need for the Ambassador Program launch.

Of course, we cannot stop feeding poor Holocaust survivors, comforting the hostage families, housing the homeless, working with young IDF soldiers or any of the other ways we are showing God’s love in action to His Chosen People. I believe these outreaches are the greatest witness of your life, fulfilling the words of Jesus who said “you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

And this witness can only happen with the help of generous friends like you.

Today I’m asking you to send a special gift. This is the month when we remember the greatest gift in all of history — the gift of God’s Son. In light of all that He has given to us, nothing that we give to Him in return could ever compare…but I’m asking you to show your love and gratitude to God today with a special Christmas offering to help us launch the Ambassador Program successfully and continue this great global prayer movement on behalf of Israel and the Jewish people.

I want to congratulate you. You are doing something truly great for God that will echo throughout eternity.  I look forward to hearing from you very soon, and thank you in advance for your generous response.
