Building a Bridge of Love and Understanding

Dear Friend,

What I saw in Israel a few days ago was the fulfillment of a dream God placed in my heart decades ago. And I’m so thrilled to share this praise report with you because it was the fervent prayers and faithful financial support of friends like you that made it possible.

It has now been 45 years since I told Prime Minister Menachem Begin that God wanted me to build a bridge of love and understanding between Christians and Jews. 

That has been the driving purpose and focus of our ministry ever since. That is the “why” behind everything that we do together as the Jerusalem Prayer Team.

Now, all glory and praise to God, I can tell you that the biggest dream we have ever dreamed has become a reality!

The successful launch of the Ambassador Program, with 1,100 pastors and leaders gathering in Israel was a stunning step forward. 

It was an outpouring of Christian love that was seen by the entire nation of Israel. Television, newspapers, radio, and online news covered what we were doing. 

More than ever before, the Jewish people know that they are not alone.

These new ambassadors gathered at historic and holy sites in Israel. We met at the place where the Nova Music Festival was attacked by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023. We wept and prayed together at the Western Wall. We heard from hostages, military leaders and political figures, including my friend Prime Minister Netanyahu.

But as wonderful as those memories are, I am even more excited about the future!

You see, these ambassadors have now returned home, ready to use their voices and influences in powerful new ways on behalf of Israel. 

Prime Minister Netanyahu has said repeatedly to me both in public and private that the most important thing we can do for his nation is reach the next generation.

That is exactly what the Ambassador Program is designed to do. We have given these leaders new tools to reach young people through their ministries. 

The multiplication effect this will have — these leaders represent hundreds of thousands of followers, church members, and listeners — is going to be enormous.

The best news is that this is only the beginning. 

We’re already working on the plans for next year as we expand the Ambassador Program. We’ll be bringing thousands more new ambassadors to Israel…and we’re working on the launch of the online program that will dramatically expand our reach around the world.

I am so thankful that God brought you together with us in this great cause.

And because I know how much you love God’s Chosen People and the nation of Israel, and because you have proven you are willing to stand in the gap in their defense, I must share this urgent prayer request with you.

The government of Israel paid for about 90% of the expenses for the first Ambassador Summit in Israel. This is astonishing…for the Jewish state to partner with a Christian ministry in such a way is unprecedented…and a sign of God’s favor on our work. It is also a declaration of how important this outreach is to them.

Israel has invested over $7 million in our Ambassador Program, with the agreement that we would pay the rest of the expenses which come to $1 million. 

The vast majority of this is money we have not raised yet. It’s absolutely urgent that we do, or we will damage our testimony. 

I’m praying for a Christmas miracle. Will you be part of that miracle today?

We need to be moving forward to the next step of the Ambassador Program, but we can’t do that until we raise the rest of the money needed to close out the books on this first launch event.

So today I’m asking you to join me in prayer for the miracle we need. Because of course, it’s not just the funds for the event that we need but for all of our outreaches. 

We had several hostages come and speak, and over and over, they talked about how much our help meant to them and their families. We still have thousands of poor Holocaust survivors depending on our weekly food deliveries.

We can’t do this without your help.

So please pray…and then ask God how He wants you to be part of the answer to prayer that we need. 

I am confident that if you and every friend and partner will do that, the need will be met, and we will be ready to take the next step in defense of the Jewish state and the Jewish people. Please let me hear from you right away…there is no time to waste.
