Hear God’s call to comfort His Chosen People
Dear Friend,
Noam had just turned 13 and was planning for his bar mitzvah. But the Iranian missile that crashed down on the bomb shelter next to the synagogue in Beit Shemesh changed everything.
On the day he was supposed to celebrate coming of age, Noam wept as his father Yossi was buried…along with his grandmother and four other members of the extended family. Noam’s mother Pnina was injured in the attack but survived along with his little brother, a child who is still in the hospital after major surgery to treat his severe injuries.
I met Pnina and wept with her at the hospital by her son’s bedside. I went to the funeral with the family and grieved with them. I told them they had friends in America who cared about them.
The same Iranian attack that killed these precious people also completely destroyed their home and everything they owned.
I can’t imagine losing so much so quickly.
Thanks to the help of caring friends and partners like you, we were able to provide them financial support to meet their most critical and urgent needs. This grieving family doesn’t have to wonder how they’re going to pay the hospital bill or how they will afford to buy food and clothes because you showed them the light of true Christian love in action.
But tragically, their story is being repeated again and again. Thousands of Jewish people have been injured. Hundreds of families have lost their homes and everything they owned. Thousands have seen their businesses and schools and synagogues forced to close.
The demonic Jew-haters want nothing less than the complete and total destruction of Israel and the Jewish people. Their highest goal is to finish the job that Hitler started.
That is the meaning of the slogan we hear echoing across our major cities and college campuses: “From the river to the sea, Palestine must be free.” The area between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea is Israel. If the ancient land God promised to Abraham and his descendants forever is “free,” that means all the Jews have been killed or driven out.
Billions of dollars have been poured into a propaganda campaign against Israel…and sadly, that campaign is working. Support for Israel is collapsing in ways we have not seen in our lifetimes, especially among young people.
Our work on behalf of God’s Chosen People has never been more important than it is right now. We must fight against the anti-Semitism that is spreading across our world.
But we must also continue to reach out in Christian love to the precious Jewish people who are suffering so greatly because of these attacks. It’s hard for most of us to imagine what it feels like to hear warning sirens go off again and again…to drive down a familiar street only to see your house in rubble…to sit by a hospital bed hoping against hope that your child will recover from the bomb blast injury.
That is daily life for so many people in Israel right now. I was there when the Iranian missiles began to fall. I heard the sirens and saw the flaming lights burning across the sky. I walked into the ruins to pray with survivors. I stood with weeping people burying their loved ones.
You do not have to go to Israel to make a difference. Your support of Friends of Zion equips our teams on the ground to reach out in love to those who have lost so much and bring at least a little hope and comfort to hurting hearts.
I am asking you today to send a special holy offering to comfort God’s Chosen People as His Word commands. I am asking you to send suffering Jewish people not just the help they need but the comfort of knowing they are not alone in this hour of urgent need.
I look forward to hearing from you very soon. Thank you in advance for your generous response. God bless you for blessing His Chosen People in such an important way.
Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Dr. Mike Evans
P.S. The work that we are doing in Israel every day, helping precious people like Pnina and her surviving children, is only possible because friends like you are reaching out in Christian love to make it a reality. Your generous gift today means so much to those who are suffering and mourning in Zion. Thank you for being part of this great work for God.
Reach Out in Christian Love Today
Your support makes it possible for Friends of Zion to help families who have had loved ones killed or injured in Iranian attacks, as well as those who have lost their homes. At the same time, we continue to deliver food to thousands of poor Holocaust survivors each week, provide clothing and food to Jewish people in need, comfort young IDF soldiers who have endured more than two years of war, and so much more.
YES, Dr. Evans, I hear God’s call to comfort His Chosen People, and I want to do my part to answer it.
