Join Together in Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem

Dear Friend,

We’re now less than a month away from what we believe will be the largest prayer meeting in the history of the world.

On October 7, the third anniversary of the deadly Hamas invasion of Israel, we are hosting a global prayer meeting live from the Kotel, the Western Wall. Millions of Believers from around the world will be joining together to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

As I am writing to you, the Holy Spirit has directed my thoughts to Revelation 7:9, which says, “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands.”

This is the vision God gave me for our prayer event on October 7. It will be the first time in Israel’s history something like this has happened. It will be 24 hours of prayer battling principalities and powers. It will be the largest prayer meeting in the history of the world.

And it will be held at one of the holiest sites in the world, the Temple Mount. This is the place where Satan made his final challenge to God that he would be like the Most High, that he would exalt himself above the clouds, then he would sit on the mount of the congregation on the sides of the north.

Never in your life will this many people be uniting together in prayer for your needs! 

Do you believe in the power of prayer? I know you do! I will personally take your prayer sheet to the very spot where the entire world will be praying and anoint it with oil. 

Never in your life will you have more people agreeing with you, releasing their faith, battling principalities and powers.

This is an opportunity of a lifetime for you!

I don’t want you to miss out on the life-changing power of God that will be unleashed through the prayers of so many of His children. 

Today I’m asking you to do two things. First, I want you to share your greatest prayer need with me. I, of course, will join you in the prayer of faith, but we will also be sharing your request with the millions of Believers taking part in this amazing event.

Maybe it is the salvation of a dear friend or family member.

Maybe there is a broken relationship that seems beyond human help.

Maybe there is an economic crisis that seems to have no solution.

Maybe it is a medical diagnosis that offers no hope for the future.

Whatever that need is, God is able to meet it. And there is nothing that moves His hand more than the unified prayers of His children. There is a place on the enclosed reply form where you can share your greatest prayer need with me…and with millions of other Believers who will be praying together on October 7.

I believe we are going to see an outpouring of God’s blessing and favor like nothing we have experienced before. I believe we are going to see commanded blessing favor.

As I was praying this morning, God spoke to me with these words from Deuteronomy 28:8: “The Lord shall command a blessing upon you…” The passage goes on to describe the amazing blessing that God has for you. This blessing rains down on every part of your life — your health, your family, your finances, and so much more. God wants to bless everything you touch!

This is what He did for my people, the Children of Israel, when they cried out to Him from their bondage in Egypt. Not only did God deliver them from slavery, but He protected them from death. On the night the Death Angel passed through the land, the Israelites put blood on the doorposts of their homes, and their firstborn children were spared. But as wonderful and miraculous as that deliverance was, there was even more.

God gave the Israelites favor with their Egyptian neighbors, and they left the land of their former captivity loaded down with gold and gems and possessions, blessed beyond their wildest dreams. That’s what the commanded blessing does.

This is the blessing described in Psalm 133. David talked about the anointing oil that was poured on the head of Aaron when he was consecrated as the high priest of Israel. It flowed down from his head, over his beard, across his entire body, and all the way down to his feet. It covered him completely! That’s what the commanded blessing does. 

But notice with me what comes first. That beautiful Psalm starts with these words: “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” The Hebrew word for unity literally means agreement. The commanded blessing comes when we come into agreement with what God wants to do in and through our lives.

Today, I am asking you to come into agreement with God concerning His commanded blessing for yourself, your children and grandchildren, your finances, your health, by sharing your need and joining together in prayer with me and millions of others, claiming God’s promises.

I have some wonderful news. A Jewish person has agreed to match what you give so whatever you give in this letter will be matched 100%. It will be like you gave double!

As part of Friends of Zion, you are in a unique position to be blessed. The Word declares, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; they shall prosper that love thee” (Psalm 122:6). Today I invite you to claim that promise in a powerful new way by joining hands with us. Remember that this promise does not say “might” or “could” but “shall” prosper!

Second, I am asking you to send your generous gift for the vital work of Friends of Zion in Israel and around the world. In addition to events like the Global Prayer Meeting on October 7, we deliver food to thousands of poor Holocaust survivors each week, minister to young IDF soldiers suffering post-traumatic stress, meet the urgent needs of Jewish orphans and homeless families, and so much more.

It is the generous gifts of friends like you who make everything we are doing possible, and we urgently need your help right now with so many needs crying out to be met.

This is the Word of the Lord, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19). 

This is a commanded blessing. This is the Scripture God gave me when He sent me to pray over Benjamin Netanyahu more than 45 years ago. This is the Scripture God has fulfilled again and again in our work for Him.

And this is the Scripture I am sharing with you today as a powerful Word from God for your life. 

Please don’t set this letter aside for later. Please stop right now, write down your greatest prayer need, and send it to me along with your gift. I will join you in prayer right away, and on October 7 millions of Believers will join us as well.
